The first shot was inspired by a shot in 'Insidious' (2010) where the antagonist is shown lurking in the shadows behind a window. In our opening we could include a panning shot past a window, with the evil antagonist lurking behind to create tension and a build up to what it is about to do to the character Hannah.
The second shot is inspired by the shot below, an extreme close-up of the possessed man in the film 'Amityville Horror'. It can be seen in his eyes that he has been taken over because they are white, as if the soul has been ripped out of the man and he cannot control his actions. We could create an ECU of the protagonist in our opening sequence, showing the fear Hannah.
